Cheating
Eric was a good basketball player. In fact, he was one of the best players on his team. Every night there was a game, his team depended on him to make lots of baskets. Basketball was going well, but there was one big problem. Eric couldn’t always get his homework done because if he wasn’t at a game, then he was at practice. When he asked one of his teammates if he had the same problem, his buddy told him that he usually copied his friend’s work when he got behind. He told Eric that it was no big deal and that he would probably have to do the same thing in order to keep up. His teammate told Eric the name of a classmate that would help him “catch up”, assuring him that it would be a lot easier if he copied. After the game, Eric looked up and saw the boy who his buddy had just recommended. He didn’t want to cheat, but he also was really behind in his work. He thought about it for a moment, then…
